Free Printable Worksheets

We have decided not to arrange our free printable worksheets into age catagories because we understand that our kids learn at different rates and may need extra practice with certain topics.

I'm often asked how parents can support their kids' learning outside of school and I think there are a lot of small things we, as parents, can do.

Often these methods involve parents getting involved and spending time with kids as we support them. For example, in our family we like to play quizes at dinner where we simply take turns asking different questions. You'd be suprised at how difficult we find it to answer some of the kids' questions!

This is brilliant fun and also supports our kids learning. But it's so relaxed and fun that the kids don't see it as 'homework' or learning but they see it as fun time with the family.

These little 'games' are perfect because they offer the oppertunity for us, as parents, to help kids with subjects they may find difficult whilst also spending quality time as a family.

I also always suggest using free printable worksheets. Whether you do this with your kids, with multiplayer player worksheets, or you simply give worksheets to them to do, you are allowing them to practice and you're supporting their learning.

As well as playing games and such we find it helpful to occasionally buy educational products for our kids. However, it can be hard to know good quality educational products that our kids will learn with, from the rubbish you can buy these days.

Because we are passionate about seeing parents support their kids learning we want to offer all the advice we can. So as well as giving advice on how to support our kids through things we can do, as parents, we also want to offer advice on the best educational products.
