It’s no secret that the education system doesn’t serve our kids as it should. That’s what really inspires me to be passionate about home school

Home teaching gives us the opportunity to teach our kids in a way that will suit them best and allow them to excel in their studies.

There’s no doubt that kids learn better when they have one to one teaching or even one teacher with a small group but the schools our kids go to, although they know this, don’t offer this teaching style to our kids. That’s why soo many children fall through the cracks and never truely meet their full academic potential.

Learning at home opens a million doors for your kids and most importantly it allows us, the parents, to really enjoy our kids and be able to experience so much more with them. A highlight is being able to chose, to some extent, what they learn and how they learn.

It really is all up to you.

There are a range of reasons why you may decide to home school your kids. Perhaps they were being bullied; perhaps like my much younger sister, they have a learning disability and they were not being catered for; maybe you want to spend more time with your family; or maybe you just feel it is right for your kids.

For whatever reason you have joined the home school world, on this section of our site we would like to offer you tips, home school resources, guides on how to get started and everything home school related (well not quite everything but you get the idea).
